David Dobkin, MD

Dr. David Dobkin, a board certified pediatrician, has been practicing pediatrics in Arlington Heights for over 20 years. He established North Arlington Pediatrics in 1990. He graduated with honors in biology from Washington University in St. Louis followed by medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Dobkin completed his internship and residency at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago and was then selected as Chief Pediatric Resident at Children's Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Dobkin is a clinical assistant professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He is also medical director for Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and has volunteered there for several summers. Special medical interests include Attention Deficit Disorder, Down Syndrome, and helping to provide a medical home for children with special needs. He is a past Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Northwest Community Hospital. He has served on advisory boards for the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Alliance of Illinois as well as chaired medical committees at Northwest Community Hospital and local elementary schools. He is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.

Outside of the office Dr. Dave enjoys being with his wife and four children, collecting sports memorabilia, and completing Sudoku puzzles.
