Nan Walicki, MD

Dr. Walicki is a native of Chicago's western suburbs. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She attended Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and graduated with honors. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. After residency, she was a hospitalist in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial Prentice Women's Hospital where she took care of premature and sick infants. Dr. Walicki, a board certified pediatrician, was happy to then join North Arlington Pediatrics. She is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Walicki enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She continues to have a special interest in taking care of preterm infants after their hospital discharge. As a mother of two young children, she relates well to new parents as they move through each phase of their baby's growth and development. In particular, she focuses on helping parents create a safe and healthy environment for their children. At NAP, she is also active in developing educational information to complement patient visits.

When she is not at work she enjoys being with her husband and two children. Dr. Walicki plays the flute and piccolo (she is a proud Notre Dame Marching Band alum), enjoys tennis, swimming, as well as other outdoor activities.
