Dr. Geleske is a board certified pediatrician, practicing with North Arlington Pediatrics since 1993. He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics at Northwestern University. He is a 1989 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine. He received his post-graduate training at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago where he also served as Chief Pediatric Resident. He is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Geleske is a clinical instructor in Pediatrics at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He serves on several AAP committees for medical home initiatives and newborn screening. He advocates that "every child deserves a medical home" - primary medical care that is accessible, continuous, comprehensive, family-centered, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective. He represents the AAP on the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Service's advisory committee on hereditable disorders in Newborns and Children. Dr. Geleske has served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Northwest Community Hospital and was a member of several leadership committees at NCH.
Dr. Geleske is married and the father of three boys. He is an avid long distance runner and participates in Tae Kwon Do with his entire family. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Buehler YMCA in Palatine. He also enjoys downhill and cross country skiing and other outdoor pursuits.
