Well Visits

At North Arlington Pediatrics we try to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Here are a few tips to make your experience an enjoyable one.

Feel free to bring books and small toys
Prepare your child for a doctor visit, for young children role play a physical to take the mystery out of the doctors visit. Read books where your child's favorite character visits the doctor's office. For older children remind them that there will be a full exam and frequently small blood tests or vaccinations.
At your child's 10, 18, and 24 month visits there are questionnaires to complete. Feel free to download and fill them out ahead of time.
Click here for our immunization schedule, but remember recommendations are updated yearly and older children especially may need catch up immunizations. Talk to your physician at your child's checkup to see if any are needed.
At every checkup your child will have their vital signs taken (including temperature) , they will be weighed and measured, so please dress them appropriately.
